of Directors

We will continue to invest in Human Capital, innovation, sustainability and social responsibility.

It is with a high sense of responsibility and satisfaction that we present the Management Report and Accounts for the 2025 financial year of Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC). In a challenging context, the Bank once again recorded a positive result, albeit smaller than in the previous year, confirming the consolidation of a trajectory based on discipline, rigour and sustainability.

The performance achieved reflects the ongoing effort in restructuring, technological modernisation, and strengthening of internal control mechanisms, as well as the consistent implementation of policies aimed at prudent and sustainable management.

The year 2025 proved crucial for consolidating the Bank’s stability: we strengthened our performance in the area of financial inclusion, deepened our presence in informal markets, and significantly improved the quality of our services. Each goal achieved has translated into a renewed commitment to better serve Angola and Angolans, promoting greater proximity, trust, and efficiency.

In the international context, projections point to stable growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), estimated at 3.3%, despite persistent geopolitical and economic tensions, volatile commodity prices, fragmented international trade, and high levels of public and private debt in various economies.

In the national context, the Justification Report for the 2025 State General Budget (OGE) projected real GDP growth of 3.0%, supported by expectations of 5.1% expansion in the non-oil sector and 1.6% in the oil sector, a framework that directly influenced the dynamics of the financial sector.

For BPC, the 2025 financial year should be interpreted in light of a structural and transformative trajectory. It is important to emphasise that the result now presented reflects, more directly, the Bank’s recurring operational performance. This approach, while more demanding, provides a more realistic and sustainable basis for creating value in the medium and long term.

Throughout the year, we continued to invest in skills development, strengthening a culture of responsibility, and aligning teams with strategic objectives, recognising that Human Capital is our main asset and a critical success factor.

In the area of digital transformation and payment methods, we have maintained a consistent investment in our platforms. The volume of transactions at ATMs totalled AOA 1,442 billion in 2025, representing growth of approximately 15.8% compared to 2024. Transactions at POS terminals reached approximately AOA 701 billion, registering a significant increase of 154.6% compared to the previous year. These indicators confirm BPC’s relevance in payment methods and the continued confidence of Customers in our solutions.

From a financial perspective, the Return on Equity (ROE) stood at 1.6%, compared to 46.0% in the previous year, resulting from a Net Income of AOA 5 billion.

The Regulatory Capital Ratio stood at 26.7%, remaining comfortably above the prudential requirements of 8.0% and the SREP Valuation Result of 17.5%, demonstrating the strength of the Bank’s capital position.

BPC thus begins the 2026 fiscal year with a more solid foundation, greater strategic clarity, and a more demanding, yet structurally more robust, trajectory of results. We are confident that this evolution will allow us to consolidate the progress achieved and strengthen the Bank’s role in the financial system and in the development of the national economy.

In 2026, we will continue to care for the present and secure the future, prioritising investment in Human Capital, innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility in all our initiatives.

To our Customers and Partners, we reaffirm our commitment to continuously improving the quality of service, proximity, and reliability of our solutions.

To our Shareholders, we reiterate our commitment to prudent and transparent management focused on creating sustainable value.

To our Employees, we express our sincere appreciation for the professionalism, resilience, and dedication demonstrated during a particularly demanding period.

Together, we remain steadfast in our commitment to continue Caring for the Present and Securing the Future.

BPC begins 2026 with a more solid foundation, greater strategic clarity and a more robust trajectory of results, strengthening its role in the financial system and in the development of the national economy.”
